Donna Brown-Cade
Reentry Social Services Manager
Bio
I developed an affection for the forensic population at my first job out of graduate school. I graduated from Alvernia University with a Master’s in Community Counseling and I became a Program Counselor at Community Education Centers. I worked with men who had violated parole. While working with the men who had violated parole I became interested in criminal justice and that led me to pursue a Master’s in Criminal Justice at St. Joseph’s University. My desire was to assist and support individuals with needs. In the course of my employment journey, I have been a substance abuse counselor, mental health counselor, targeted case manager, juvenile detention counselor and held various management positions but I always keep my focus on assisting and supporting individuals. I feel my purpose is being fulfilled at ICJ.
