Reentry Month Bail Out Fund

The Institute for Community Justice is celebrating Reentry Awareness Month in Philadelphia. In doing so, we have created a Reentry Month Bail Out Fund in which we are accepting donations to assist persons who cannot afford bail.

75% of persons in local jails are unconvicted, most cannot afford bail. It is our hope to bail out a minimum of 15 persons or more from local jails.

For every $10 donated, your name is put into a raffle to win a refurbished laptop! We are accepting donations through the end of June!

How to donate

  • Donate Now: Select Amount and ICJ > Dedicate this Donation  – Type “BAIL” > Fill in your contact and payment information.
  • PayPal: Assata Thomas (include your name, and contact information, and write BAIL in the note box
